Summary Sheets

These are enlarged versions of the summary exercises in the Foundation Science pupil's book, allowing pupils to simply fill in the gaps (rather than copying out the whole summary passage from the book). They are intended for lower ability pupils.

N.B. Some of these worksheets have been provided as Microsoft Word documents to give you the ability, if you wish, to edit them for your particular class.

Unfortunately, this means that the sheets may appear differently on your screen from how they were intended, depending on your own settings in Word. For this reason, please check through the summary sheets you download before printing them.

If you want don't want to edit the sheets, we suggest you use the PDF/Acrobat version.

To download a set of summary sheets:

  • Using Internet Explorer:
click on the appropriate link, then to save the document, select File/Save on your browser, or to print the document, select File/Print
  • Using Netscape Navigator:
click on the appropriate link and then either select Open or Save in the dialogue box which appears.
