MAKING GRAMMAR CRYSTAL CLEAR

In another contribution to teachers' understanding of the phenomenon of language, Longman publishers are about to issue a third edition of David Crystal's best-selling reference guide, Rediscover Grammar.
This book, long a standard text for teachers, has been updated to take account of recent language developments and of National Curriculum and Literacy Strategy requirements. The publishers are also bringing out a new volume, Making Sense of Grammar, by Professor Crystal, an academic whose books include The Penguin Dictionary of Language and The Cambridge Encycolpedia of English Language.
