What is a PDF?
A pdf is a special type of document that is used to deliver high-quality documents (e.g. worksheets) for printing out over the Internet. We make use of these so that we can ensure that the materials supplied on this website reach you looking as intended.

How do I download a PDF?

To download a PDF document you need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. This application is available at Adobe website and is absolutely free.

Once you have Acrobat Reader installed, click on the download link to view the document on your screen and select 'Print' to print it off. Alternatively you can right-click on the link and select 'Save Target As …' or 'Save Link As …' to save the document to disk for use later.

N.B. As downloading from the web takes rather longer than opening files from a disk, you may have to wait between 30 seconds and a couple of minutes for PDF's to download, depending on the size of the document and the speed of your modem link.

How do I download other files from this website (Word, Excel etc.)?
To download other files from the web, either click on the download link directly to open the document on your screen, or right-click on the link and select 'Save Target As …' or 'Save Link As …' to save the document to disk for use later.

How do I order online?
Find the title that you want and click on the order now button to add it to your 'shopping basket'. When you have collected all the items you want, click on the proceed to checkout button.

How will I pay for the order?
All online orders through www.longman.co.uk are charged by invoice (which will accompany the sent items). You will not be asked to supply any credit card details.

Is my online order secure?
You will not be asked for any credit card details when you order online from longman.co.uk and so your order is completely secure.

How do I order inspection copies of titles I am interested in?
The Longman evaluation services are completely FREE.

All Longman materials are delivered carriage free and can be returned within 28 days for credit in full. We are pleased to supply inspection copies of textbooks to teachers who wish to examine them with a view to adoption. These may be kept free of charge if you place an order for more than twelve copies.

To order your inspection copies online, simply search for the book you want on our online catalogue, and then click on order now.

In the unlikely event that the products you have evaluated do not meet your requirements, please call us FREE on 0800 579 579 for details on how to return the goods free of charge.
