Unit investigations - each Unit Review is accompanied by a short, focused investigation. |

Termly investigations - each Teacher's Handbook contains three longer investigations (i.e. three each for lower, middle and higher ability pupils). These are considerably more open-ended than the Unit investigations and are accompanied by starter sheets for the pupils and comprehensive mark schemes. |

Finished Early often includes investigational work. |
