Spreadsheets in Geography II

by John Harris
( Head of Geography, Radley College)

John Harris has written a series of step-by-step instructions on how to use spreadsheets, concentrating specifically on functions that are of use to Geography teachers.

Microsoft Excel will be used for the following examples, as it is probably the most popular spreadsheet software at the moment. The Excel '97 version has been used in these examples, and so you may find that you have to vary the procedures slightly if you are using other versions.
